Large van windscreen sunshade NZ: 2.2m reflective coverage
Need a wider sunshade for a larger windscreen? This extra-large reflective shade measures 220cm wide by 80cm high, giving owners of compatible vans, trucks and motorhomes a practical option to compare against their vehicle’s glass.
The silver reflective surface helps reduce direct sunlight entering through the windscreen while parked. Its lightweight, foldable design makes it easy to remove and store before driving.
Stock is held locally in Auckland, with free standard tracked delivery within New Zealand and a 6-month local warranty.
The 2.2m commercial sunshade difference
Width matters when choosing a shade for a larger vehicle. At 2.2 metres across, this model offers a broad rectangular format for windscreens that smaller shades may not cover adequately.
Measure both the width and height of the area you want to cover before ordering. Windscreen shape, mirror position, trim and sun-visor placement all affect fit.
Reflective silver surface for parked-vehicle shade
Position the reflective foil side towards the windscreen and sunlight, as described in the original product instructions. The shade creates a barrier against direct sunlight reaching the dashboard and other surfaces behind the covered glass.
Actual results depend on coverage, parking direction, weather, glazing and the vehicle. For van owners, tradies and campervan travellers
- Work vans: shade the dashboard area while the vehicle is parked between jobs.
- Courier and fleet vehicles: a foldable accessory for compatible larger windscreens during parking breaks.
- Campervans and motorhomes: add windscreen coverage when parked at your destination, subject to fit.
- Larger passenger vehicles: compare the 220 × 80cm dimensions with your windscreen before buying.
Windscreen fitment guide
| Vehicle group | What to check |
|---|---|
| Vans, including HiAce, Transit and Sprinter | Measure your exact model’s windscreen. |
| Motorhomes and campervans | Check glass height as well as width, particularly on deep or unusually shaped windscreens. |
| Trucks and buses | Compare the 220 × 80cm size with the intended coverage area and check sun-visor support. |
| Large utes and other vehicles | Check for excess width, mirror clearance and secure positioning. |

Will this sunshade fit a Toyota HiAce, Ford Transit or Mercedes Sprinter?
