Tool and charger compatibility

Designed for compatible 18V slide-on Hitachi and HiKOKI cordless platforms. For drills, drivers and saws, match the original battery number and slide connection before ordering. Nailers and other tools may use different battery systems, so check the tool manual first. Compatibility is model-specific, not a guarantee for every tool sold under either brand.

• Battery numbers to check: BSL1850, BSL1830, BSL1840, BSL1815, BSL1820, BSL1825, BSL1860; 330067, 330068, 330139, 330557 and 339782. A matching number alone does not guarantee physical or electronic fit.
• Original charger models to check: UC18YFSL, UC18YSL3, UC18YKSL and UC18YRL. Confirm your charger accepts the pack's 18V slide-on format and battery chemistry before charging.
• Not for: 14V tools, or tools and chargers with a different battery fitting. Do not assume compatibility with Metabo HPT or HiKOKI Multi Volt systems.

Performance and care

The specified high-drain lithium-ion design is intended for demanding cordless work. The supplier describes 18650 cells and an integrated battery-management circuit for overcharge, over-discharge, overcurrent, short-circuit and temperature protection. These features are not a substitute for using a compatible charger and following your tool and battery instructions. Lithium-ion batteries do not need to be fully discharged before recharging.

Will this battery work with both older Hitachi and newer HiKOKI 18V tools?

It is intended for compatible Hitachi and HiKOKI 18V slide-on tools, but not every tool in either range uses the same connection. Check your existing battery number, slide fitting and tool manual before buying; it is not suitable for 14V tools.

Can I charge this battery using my original Hitachi or HiKOKI charger, such as UC18YFSL?

The stated compatible charger models include UC18YFSL, UC18YSL3, UC18YKSL and UC18YRL. Before charging, confirm your charger's supported battery chemistry and the physical connection. If unsure, send us your charger and tool model numbers to check.
