Why choose 3.0Ah Ni-MH?

At the same 18V, 3.0Ah has twice the rated capacity of 1.5Ah, 50% more than 2.0Ah and about 2.3 times that of 1.3Ah. Actual runtime depends on tool load, battery condition and temperature. Ni-MH generally has less memory-effect sensitivity than older Ni-Cd chemistry, but follow the battery and compatible charger's instructions for best results. It is not a drop-in substitute for DeWalt 18V XR slide-on lithium-ion batteries.
