The iPad Pro 12.9-Inch (Wi-Fi Only - 5th Gen) features a fully-laminated, antireflective 12.9" mini-LED backlit 2732x2048 "Liquid Retina XDR" display (2D backlighting system, 264 ppi, 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio) surrounded by a thin black bezel and packed in a slim case with rounded corners and flat sides. The back is offered in either silver or a darker "Space Gray" color.

This iPad Pro is powered by a 3.2 GHz Apple M1 processor with 8 cores (4 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores), an 8-core GPU and a 16-core Neural Engine. If configured with 128 GB, 256 GB, or 512 GB of storage, it is equipped with 8 GB of onboard RAM. If it is configured with 1 TB or 2 TB of storage, it is equipped with 16 GB of onboard RAM.

Other notable new features include a Thunderbolt / USB 4 port and a new 12 megapixel Ultra Wide front camera with a "Center Stage" feature that automatically pans and zooms to keep subjects in frame. Models with cellular networking support support 5G, as well.

In addition to Thunderbolt / USB 4, other connectivity includes dual-band 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) with HT80 with MIMO capability and Bluetooth 5.0. It has five microphones and a four speaker system, too.
